TRAVEL, TOURISM AND HOLIDAYS, MIGRATIONS
What can be better than going on a trip to the flourishing capital, vibrant city that you have always had a desire to visit? Paris, for instance😍 Just imagine yourself strolling along its cobbled streets, going on excursions, soaking up the atmposhere of the city of love. Seems to be perfect, doesn't it?

Or if you want a place where you can get away from it all and where you can laze around and spend your dream holiday, what could be better than enjoying unspoilt nature somewhere near the seaside in the open air? 🌴🌊
NEVERTHELESS, there is a dark side of tourism when people instead of these places catch a plane and make a reservation in a run-down hotel in the place that is off the beaten track just to see the place where tragic horror events happened. There are a great deal of cons referring to dark tourism.
1. CHANGE OF PRIORITIES OF GOVERNMENT. If a city turns out to be a popular "dark tourist" destination, it may have bad consequences. The government start focusing on the potential influx of money at the cost of focusing on local issues.
2. HIGHER PRICES. Having a status of a popular destination does its bit. Prices do go up to produce a larger profit.
3. DISRESPECT. Instead of commemorating such places, people go sightseeing there, making camp sites to have fun thinking that it offers a unique experince. As it happens, they do not realize that  do a bad turn and this place may have occurred a tragedy for some.
Of course, I agree that you may be captivated by some of these places if you're keen on history. In this case it can be cognitive to integrate into atmosphere of past.
All in all, it's my firm conviction that in advance of setting out to such places, make sure that it's safe for your health and you won't face the animosity and prejusice by local citizens.
